Bower Bearings are small and unvisual yet advertised in a splendid transdimensional way, looming over the products that contain them. The unique selling proposition is Spher-O-Honed, incomprehensible but so impressive. Look closer and the steely promise is wittered away in claims of high performance spherical roll-ends, positive lubrication and higher cone flange, what we have all been seeking without knowing it.

What I love is the combination of photograph, art-work and the diagrammatic. Landscapes and narrative content may be slender, but do reflect the month and its climatic conditions, from yellow to blue and back again.

Bearings are fine, but not as good as Spark Plugs - soon to appear.
